We’ve just started a large-scale renovation and extension project in Pinhoe, Exeter, working alongside Devon Built Ltd to deliver a fully modern, energy-efficient home.

This project involves a complete upgrade of the property’s heating, hot water, ventilation, and insulation systems — transforming an older home into a future-ready living space.

Project Overview

The existing property was running on an outdated back boiler system, which has now been fully removed.

We are installing a modern air source heat pump (split system), designed to run efficiently at low flow temperatures while providing consistent comfort throughout the home.

Alongside the heating system, we are installing a full MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) system. This will provide continuous fresh, filtered air while recovering heat that would otherwise be lost — improving both air quality and efficiency.

• MVHR system installation and commissioning
