From an Old Floor-Standing Boiler to an Ideal Vogue Max Combi in Exmouth

Boiler upgrade from an old floor-standing boiler in Exmouth

We replaced an old floor-standing system boiler and cylinder in Exmouth with a wall-mounted Ideal Vogue Max combi. Going from a system boiler to a combi frees up the cylinder cupboard and gives hot water on demand.

What we did

  • Removed the old boiler and cylinder.
  • Power flushed the system with chemical treatment and magnetic filtration.
  • Fitted the Vogue Max on the wall, with a new filter, controls and condensate.
  • Commissioned it, completed the Benchmark checklist and registered the 12-year warranty with Ideal (available because we’re a Max Accredited installer, with a yearly service).

A combi suits most smaller homes. With several bathrooms, a system boiler and unvented cylinder can be the better choice, and we’ll tell you which fits. Conversions are from £4,500 inc VAT. See boiler installation and work in Exmouth.
