During a recent gas safety inspection and boiler service in Exmouth, we identified a fault with one of the property’s gas appliances.
As part of the inspection, we checked the gas hob and found that three of the burners were shutting off correctly, while one was not operating as it should.
Because the appliance could not be left safely in that condition, we made it safe and capped off the gas supply until the fault could be resolved.

This is a good example of why a proper gas safety inspection involves more than simply completing paperwork.
