One of the latest stages has involved installing a 450-litre Powertank and variable-speed boosted water system, alongside extensive alterations to the property’s existing pipework.
High-Performance Water Supply for a Large Property
Large properties with multiple bathrooms can place very different demands on their water supply compared with a typical home.
It’s not simply about achieving good pressure at one shower. The system needs to be capable of providing suitable flow when several outlets are being used at the same time.
The 450-litre Powertank and boosted water arrangement installed at this property has been selected to provide the storage, flow and pressure required for the completed renovation.
Extensive Plumbing Alterations
The Powertank forms part of a much larger package of work we’re carrying out at the property.
This includes alterations and upgrades to the existing hot and cold water services, supplies for multiple bathrooms and a wet room, and changes to the way different areas of the property are served.
Working within a period property also presents its own challenges.
New plumbing infrastructure has to be carefully incorporated around the existing building, with routes planned to provide the performance required while respecting the character and construction of the property.
Much of the work we’re completing now will eventually disappear behind walls, floors and ceilings, but getting this stage right is fundamental to how well the finished property performs.
