Worcester Bosch is the boiler most people ask us about. We fit plenty of them, from the Worcester 2000 to the premium 8000, and we also fit Ideal and Glow-worm, so we’ll recommend whichever suits your home.
How much does it cost?
As a guide, including VAT: a combi replacement from £2,500, a system boiler from £2,950, and a full conversion from £4,500. A power flush, if your system needs one, starts from £900. The final price depends on the boiler and its output, the flue route, any gas pipe upgrade, the controls and the state of the system. We give you a written price after a survey.
Questions we get asked
What warranty do I get?
Depending on the boiler, between 7 and 15 years when it’s registered and serviced every year.
How long does it take?
Most like-for-like swaps take a day. Moving the boiler or converting the system usually takes two to three.
Do I need a power flush?
Often, yes. A dirty system will damage a new boiler, and manufacturers expect the system to be cleaned. Every install we do also gets a magnetic filter and inhibitor.
Is Worcester better than other brands?
It’s a strong, well-supported brand with good parts availability. But in some homes an Ideal Vogue Max or a Glow-worm is better value or a better fit. We’ll tell you why we recommend one over another.
