A homeowner on Plumb Park in Exmouth wanted an easier way to wash the dog after the beach. Rinsing off salt water and sand with a freezing cold hose isn’t fun for anyone.
What we did
- Fitted a thermostatic mixing valve on the hot and cold supplies.
- Connected it to the outdoor hose outlet.
- Tested it and set a safe, comfortable temperature.
Now the hose runs warm, at a controlled temperature that can’t scald. A small job, but one that gets used every day.
