On this visit we serviced an Ideal Instinct boiler, replaced its flue manifold and looked into a reported pressure loss on the heating system. A boiler can seem to be working fine while worn parts or early faults are building up.
Losing pressure every few days?
Common causes are a weeping radiator valve, a pipework leak, the expansion vessel, the pressure relief valve discharging, a leak inside the boiler, a hidden leak under a floor or in a wall, or a faulty filling loop. Some are obvious, and some only show now and then. Topping the pressure up and hoping isn’t a fix, so we investigate properly.
