A customer in Exmouth had water trickling into the toilet pan all the time. That’s the classic sign of a failed flush valve, and it wastes a lot of water.
We isolated the toilet, took out the old valve, cleaned the cistern parts and fitted a new valve. Then we tested it to make sure it refilled properly, sealed, and stopped trickling.
Signs your flush valve has gone
- Water running into the pan when nobody has flushed.
- The cistern refilling on its own, or constant noise from it.
- A weak flush.
