Busy day in Exmouth today for SAFEXE LTD HEATING AND PLUMBING — this job was a proper hands-on one from start to finish.
We carried out a full strip-down service on a Worcester Bosch Greenstar, including a deep heat exchanger clean to bring efficiency and reliability back to where it should be. Over time, sludge, scale and combustion debris build up inside the heat exchanger, which can lead to poor performance, higher gas usage, and intermittent faults — so a proper strip-down is worth doing, especially once boilers start showing their age.
While we were onsite, we also:
• Capped and made-safe redundant gas pipework
• Repaired part of the existing heating system
• Checked combustion levels and boiler health
• Reassembled and recommissioned the appliance to manufacturer standards
Everything is tested, documented, safe and working exactly as it should.
