Radiators
Most cold rooms come down to radiators that are too small, in the wrong place, or full of sludge. We work out the heat each room needs and fit radiators to match, from standard panels to designer and column styles.
- Replacement radiators, like for like or upsized
- Designer, column and vertical radiators
- Moving a radiator to suit a new layout
- New valves and TRVs
- Towel rails, including dual-fuel
If you might go to a heat pump later, it’s worth sizing new radiators for low flow temperatures now.

Controls and system upgrades
- Smart and wireless thermostats, and heating zones for different floors
- Weather compensation, so the boiler runs cooler and more efficiently
- Magnetic filters and inhibitor to protect the system
- Pipework changes and repiping on renovations
- Converting old open-vented systems to sealed systems

Heating upgrade questions
Why is one room always cold?
Usually the radiator is too small for the room, it’s full of sludge, or the system isn’t balanced. We check which before recommending anything.
Can you replace radiators without draining the whole system?
Often, yes, using isolation valves or a freezing kit. Bigger changes need a drain-down and refill with fresh inhibitor.
Are designer radiators less efficient?
Not necessarily, but some put out less heat for their size. We check the output against what the room needs before you order.
Will new radiators work with a heat pump?
They will if they’re sized for low flow temperatures. We can size them that way now so you’re ready later.
