Unvented Hot Water Cylinder Installation and Power Flush

SAFEXE recently completed an unvented hot water cylinder installation alongside a full heating system power flush.

An unvented cylinder can be a great upgrade for homes that need better hot water performance. They are particularly useful in properties with multiple bathrooms, busy family use or customers wanting stronger mains-pressure hot water.

Unlike older gravity-fed systems, an unvented cylinder is connected directly to the mains water supply, helping provide better flow rates and improved shower performance when the incoming mains supply is suitable.

As part of this job, we also carried out a power flush on the heating system. This helps remove sludge, debris and poor-quality system water that can affect circulation, radiator performance and long-term efficiency.

Why combine a cylinder upgrade with a power flush?

When upgrading major heating and hot water components, it makes sense to make sure the existing system is clean and protected. A dirty heating system can cause poor circulation, cold radiators, noisy operation and premature wear on components.

A power flush can help:

  • Improve heating circulation
  • Remove sludge and debris
  • Help radiators heat more evenly
  • Protect new components
  • Improve overall system reliability
  • Support better long-term efficiency
