A full strip-down service on a Worcester Bosch Greenstar in Exmouth, with a deep clean of the heat exchanger. Over time, sludge, scale and combustion debris build up inside it, which means poor performance, more gas used and on-off faults. Once a boiler starts showing its age, a proper strip-down is worth doing.
While we were there
- Capped off and made safe some redundant gas pipework.
- Repaired part of the heating system.
- Checked combustion, then reassembled and recommissioned the boiler to the manufacturer’s standards.
Same day: a ten-year-old Ideal Vogue
We also did the CP12 and annual service on an Ideal Vogue we fitted ten years ago. It’s still running well, which shows what a good install and a yearly service do for a boiler’s life.
