SAFEXE LTD Gas, Plumbing & Heat Pumps recently completed an electric boiler installation and full central heating power flush at a property on Shelly Road, Exmouth Marina in Exmouth.
This job involved replacing the existing heating appliance with a new electric boiler and cleaning the existing central heating system before the new boiler was put fully into use.
Electric boilers can be a practical option for certain properties, especially flats, apartments, marina properties and homes where gas is not available, not suitable, or not the preferred heating route.
As part of the installation, we also carried out a full power flush of the central heating system.
A power flush helps remove sludge, dirty system water, magnetite and debris from the existing radiators and pipework. This gives the new boiler a cleaner system to work with and helps reduce the risk of circulation problems, cold radiators and unnecessary strain on the appliance.
✅ New electric boiler installed
✅ Central heating system power flushed
✅ Radiators and pipework cleaned
✅ Dirty system water and sludge reduced
✅ Heating system protected before commissioning
✅ Work completed on Shelly Road, Exmouth Marina
Why Power Flushing Matters With a New Boiler Installation
When a new boiler is connected to an existing heating system, the condition of the system water is just as important as the boiler itself.
Older heating systems can often contain sludge, magnetite and debris inside the pipework and radiators. If this is not dealt with properly, the new boiler can be affected by poor circulation, noisy operation, cold spots on radiators and long-term reliability issues.
Power flushing helps clean the system before or during the boiler installation process, giving the new appliance the best possible start.
At SAFEXE LTD Gas, Plumbing & Heat Pumps, we regularly recommend system cleaning where required as part of boiler replacements and heating upgrades. It is one of the best ways to protect the investment in a new boiler and improve overall central heating performance.
Electric Boiler Installation in Exmouth Marina
This electric boiler installation was carried out on Shelly Road, close to Exmouth Marina.
Electric boilers are not the right choice for every property, but they can work well in the right situation. They are often considered for apartments, smaller homes, properties without gas, modern marina homes and buildings where a traditional gas boiler is not practical.
Before recommending any heating appliance, we look at the property, the existing system, the hot water demand, the available electrical supply and the customer’s long-term plans.
In some cases, an electric boiler is a simple and suitable solution. In other cases, a gas boiler, air source heat pump, air-to-air heating system or upgraded hot water system may be more appropriate.
