We replaced the radiators throughout a student HMO in Exeter before the winter term. The landlord had complaints about cold rooms and poor heat from the old radiators.
What we did
- Took out the old radiators.
- Fitted new panel radiators sized for each room.
- Replaced valves and pipework where needed.
- Tested and balanced the whole system, and took all the old radiators away.
HMO heating gets heavy use, with lots of people turning it on and off. Correctly sized radiators heat rooms faster and more evenly, which means fewer complaints and call-outs for the landlord.
