This toilet in Exmouth was leaking from the joint between the cistern and the pan. That’s common on close-coupled toilets as the bolts, seals and the big rubber washer age or work loose. Max replaced the close-coupling kit, checked the toilet over and made sure the leak was gone before he left.
Signs to look for
Water on the floor after you flush, drips between the cistern and pan, the cistern moving, damp flooring or staining behind the pan. It may look minor, but a slow leak ruins floors, skirting and the ceiling below. Fixing it early is much cheaper.
