We attended a Worcester boiler service in Exmouth today and quickly found the root cause of the customer’s pressure loss: a failing expansion vessel that had lost its internal charge and begun leaking. This is a common fault on older Worcester boilers and leads to constant pressure drops, noisy heating, air in radiators and intermittent boiler lockouts. We safely isolated, removed and replaced the faulty expansion vessel, re-pressurised the system, and carried out a full Worcester-standard annual service.
